The position is responsible to assist the Finance & Accounting Senior Coordinator in the implementation and record keeping and validation of the financial transactions based on the financial procedures/requirements of the organization and donors.

Provides support in finance area to program staff to ensure good practices and compliances with accounting standards, organization, and donor’ policies and procedures.

The Blue Carbon Action Partnership (BCAP) was launched at the Our Ocean Conference in March 2023 to scale blue carbon benefits through coordinated action to unlock finance, strengthen science and empower local communities. BCAP is supporting national governments in achieving their blue carbon ambitions and coordinating, communicating and connecting global stakeholders in blue carbon ecosystems at a global and national scale. The first National BCAP (NBCAP) is in Indonesia, following the establishment of a partnership with Indonesia at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2023, reinforced at UNFCCC COP 28 in Dubai in December 2023. NBCAP secretariat will be developed to share the goals of the NBCAP and to host the operation, manage and coordinate, support the development and overseeing the delivery of the NBCAP.

KI will hire a National Blue Carbon Action Partnership Secretariat Administrator who will support in organizing NBCAP governance and operationalization. This position will provide support to the NBCAP secretariat lead in organizing NBCAP stakeholder meetings and dissemination activities, develop minutes and report of the meeting, hire consultants and vendors as needed (following Forum procurement policy), and develop communication materials of the NBCAP. S/he will be responsible for handling administrative, operation and communication work of the secretariat and work collaboratively with team members with guidance from the NBCAP secretariat Manager, Policy Senior Manager and Blue carbon Senior Manager.

South Sorong Program manager will be responsible for KI’s program implementation in the regency, in providing support and managing collaboration with stakeholders, communities, and partners for improved forest management in the area.

South Sorong Livelihood Coordinator will be responsible in coordinating KI’s efforts to develop existing livelihood opportunities in South Sorong, to bring added social, environmental, and economic benefit, that can improve communities’ prosperity, and either directly support forest protection and management, or indirectly give positive impacts by reducing threats to the forest.

West Java Program Coordinator akan bertanggung jawab untuk mengoordinasikan berbagai aspek strategi konservasi keanekaragaman hayati, restorasi, dan pengelolaan Ekosistem Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS). Tugas utama meliputi perencanaan strategis, pengumpulan data lapangan, analisis data keanekaragaman hayati, pengembangan dan pengelolaan database, serta pemantauan capaian program sesuai dengan kerangka Monitoring dan Evaluasi KI. Posisi ini bertanggung jawab dalam menyampaikan laporan berkala tentang capaian program kepada donor dan membantu dalam persiapan laporan yang relevan. Posisi ini akan bekerja sama dengan Tim Sundaland dan tim Kebijakan KI.

Biodiversity Assistant akan bertanggung jawab untuk membantu kegiatan implementasi sesuai dengan rencana kerja terkait konservasi keanekargaman hayati KI untuk ekoregion Sahul Papua, khususnya di Sorong Selatan. Mengumpulkan data keanekaragaman hayati di lapangan, mendukung dalam pengelolaan database kenanekargaman hayati, memastikan ketersediaan data keanekaragaman hayati capaian program ekoregion Sahul Papua untuk komponen keanekaragaman hayati, kerja sama dengan pemangku kepentingan, menyiapkan bahan/data muatan keanekaragaman hayati dalam komunikasi dan pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Posisi ini akan bekerja sama atas arahan South Sorong Field Coordinator dan Conservation Planning Managers, serta bekerja dekat dengan Biodiversity Lead, tim Monitoring dan Evaluasi dan tim Kebijakan KI.

KI is seeking a NCS lead to lead development of NCS projects and support ecoregion team (Sundaland, Sunda Banda and Sahul Papua) in the preparation and monitoring of the projects. The NCS lead will be required to research across a variety of subjects to provide information for technical reports such as Project Design Documents. Additionally, the lead may be call upon to support donor fundraising initiatives and reporting.

Sunda Banda Conservation Coordinator will play a dynamic and important role in supporting both national and provincial government’s program focusing on the development of MPA in Lesser Sunda and Maluku. The successful candidate will be outgoing, a self-starter and have a high cultural sensitivity. This will involve implementation with several KI projects in NTB, NTT and Maluku, working with communities, private sector, and government. This position will report to the Sunda Banda Ecoregion Manager with regular communication to Sunda Banda Ecoregion Director and other relevant manager.

Maluku Conservation Officer will play a dynamic and important role in supporting both national and provincial government’s program focusing on the development of MPA in Wetar. The successful candidate will be outgoing, a self-starter and have a high cultural sensitivity. This will involve implementation with several KI projects Maluku, working with communities, private sector, and government (village and regency). This position will report to the Sunda Banda Conservation Coordinator with regular communication to Sunda Banda Ecoregion Manager and other relevant manager.

Lesser Sunda Conservation Officer will play a dynamic and important role in supporting both national and provincial government’s program focusing on the development of MPA in Lesser Sunda. The successful candidate will be outgoing, a self-starter and have a high cultural sensitivity. This will involve implementation with several KI projects in NTB and NTT, working with communities, private sector, and government (village and regency).
