  • MPA Bintan Conservation Coordinator

    The Coordinator is a part of the KI’s Sundaland Program and Ocean Team that contributes to the conservation of marine biodiversity and the promotion of sustainable coastal resource management and ecosystem management practices in Indonesia. S/he provides technical assistance to the Bintan MPA management unit and local partners, and collaborates with national and local government, non-governmental organizations and other partners as appropriate to advance the management of MPA, promote sustainable coastal resource management and ecosystem management. S/he ensures projects are executed effectively, meeting established goals, and delivering expected outcomes.

  • Whale Shark Conservation Science Officer

    The Whale Shark Conservation Science Officer will play a key role in driving conservation efforts by providing administrative, research, and programmatic support for project implementation. The officer will serve as the primary liaison with key stakeholders in West Nusa Tenggara, including the Department of Marine and Fisheries and the Department of Tourism, particularly on matters related to whale shark science and conservation. In addition, the officer will support Kawan Teluk Saleh, a youth community established in Saleh Bay, in conducting whale shark monitoring and conservation activities. This includes working closely with local communities, fishers, and tourism operators to promote sustainable whale shark tourism practices.

  • Stakeholders Engagement Coordinator

    The Stakeholders Engagement Coordinator will have a broad range of tasks such as the provision of mobilization and engagement of stakeholders and acquire information from primary or secondary sources to create meaningful inputs for program implementation. Moreover, the Coordinator will be responsible for coordination with relevant district offices and key stakeholders for the establishment, mobilization and acceleration of Task Force Gugus Tugas Pengembangan Budidaya Udang berwawasan Lingkungan .

  • Fakfak Program Coordinator

    Fakfak Program Coordinator strengthens management effectiveness of Protected Areas (PA) in Fakfak Regency and build

    stakeholders active participation for nature protection and sustainable use beyond PA. Lead coordination to implement, monitor and develop adaptive management to ensure impactful conservation-related programs or projects in Fakfak Regency. This position will act as liaison with staff and partners by managing communications and catalyzing collaboration of various conservation programs/projects located in Fakfak Regency. Perform data collection/research and analyze and summarize key findings. Provide technical support to staff and manage project workplan of conservation Programs and lead regular team/committee meetings.

  • Senior Officer Livelihood

    This position will be responsible to build a farmer database with accurate data, develop work plans, and report progress to the Field Program Manager monthly. In addition to the relevant palm oil commodities, this position will also be involved in all conservation activities along the riverbanks in the independent farmer plantations in South Tapanuli, and will participate in sustainable production programs for coffee, cocoa, rubber, and other potential commodities.

  • BATANG TORU PROGRAM MANAGER

    Program Manager will lead KI’s forestry program and implementation in Batang Toru corridors in North Sumatra. He/she will deliver training to KI staff as well as to other partners providing the field team with necessary skills for the implementation. He/she is responsible for building a strong conservation network where KI plays a central role in the network. He/she will involve in development of funding opportunities for building science and a long-term program for sustainability.

  • Nature Climate Solution and Biodiversity Policy Coordinator

    We are looking for a NCS and Biodiversity Policy Coordinator who will support our NCS policy work (climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts, specifically on the carbon pricing mechanism), assist NCS project development when feasible, conduct ecosystem services and biodiversity valuation, as well as explore biodiversity financing schemes (payment for ecosystem services, biodiversity credits, green bonds, etc).

  • NATIONAL BLUE CARBON ACTION PARTNERSHIP SECRETARIAT MANAGER

    Konservasi Indonesia (KI) is hiring hire a National Blue Carbon Action Partnership Secretariat Manager who will offer expertise in organize NBCAP governance and NBCAP stakeholder meetings, represent NBCAP at events, oversee the delivery of analysis work and roadmaps, hire consultants and vendors as needed (following Forum procurement policy), and support communication about the NBCAP. S/he will be responsible for day-to-day coordination with coordinating ministry of Maritime, other staff in KI and other relevant stakeholders (government and non-government partners) to ensure the implementation of the project. S/he will handle in-country project coordination tasks and lead the implementation of project activities and work collaboratively with team members with guidance from the Blue Carbon Senior Manager, Ocean Program Director, and Policy Senior Director.

  • Sundaland Program Director

    Sundaland Program Director is responsible for providing strategic oversight and programmatic direction for a regional program implementation. S/he is responsible for overall program management and ensuring that program strategies, initiatives, outcomes and impact advance Konservasi Indonesia human development and conservation priorities as well as the supporting operations needed with technical help from Operation and support team from the country office.
